As the school year draws to a close, students involved in the eTwinning project LEAP, Languages for Empowerment, Awareness and Peace, had the opportunity to present the results of their international collaboration to their families.
During the event, students guided parents through the project’s TwinSpace and the final collaborative ebook, showcasing the wide range of activities carried out throughout the year together with their partners from Germany. The presentation highlighted not only the final products, but also the learning journey behind them.
Working in international teams, students took on different roles. The Digital Navigators explored digital citizenship, artificial intelligence, GDPR, online safety and innovative digital tools. The Intercultural Mediators focused on dialogue, mutual understanding and cooperation across cultures. The Storytellers documented experiences and transformed project activities into engaging narratives. The Language Ambassadors promoted multilingualism through language-learning activities and intercultural communication. Finally, the Changemakers explored the lives and achievements of activists working for democracy, education, women’s rights, environmental protection and social justice.
Throughout the year, students participated in videoconferences, online debates, collaborative boards, digital quizzes, language exchanges, activities linked to Safer Internet Day and Europe Day, and reflections on the opportunities and challenges of Artificial Intelligence.
The final ebook, created jointly by Italian and German students, stands as a testament to their creativity, teamwork, digital competence and commitment to European values. By presenting their work to their families, students demonstrated not only what they had produced, but also the skills, confidence and intercultural awareness they had developed through this enriching international experience.
