8.30-9.30 Initial Meeting: presentation of the week program and tour of the school guided by the students 9.45-11.00 Lesson: each student follows his/her partner student in class 11.00-12.00 Lunch at school’s canteen 12.00-18.00 City centre visit : Art excursion and Ateneum museum visit. Oodi library. |

Working Day 2
8.10-9.25 Lesson: each student follows his/her partner student in class 9.45-11.00 Lesson: each student follows his/her partner student in class 11.00-12.00 Lunch at school’s canteen 12:15 – Guided visit to the Helsinki Observatory Students explore the Observatory and its connection with the observation and understanding of the natural environment and the Earth. The activity encourages reflection on climate, environmental change and the relationship between scientific knowledge and environmental awareness. 14:00 – Excursion to Suomenlinna Island Competences acquired: Environmental awareness, scientific literacy, sustainability, cultural heritage awareness, responsible tourism, intercultural learning and active citizenship. |
