The activities provide an opportunity to reflect on how technological and industrial innovation has transformed society and how it can contribute to addressing today’s environmental challenges. At Upptech, students engage with science and technology in ways that encourage curiosity about sustainable solutions and responsible innovation. The packed lunch provided by the school also supports a practical approach to responsible food consumption and waste reduction.

The visit to the Huskvarna Museum highlights the evolution of industrial production and invites students to consider the environmental and social consequences of industrialisation, while the Match Museum offers a historical perspective on manufacturing, resources and technological change.

Competences consolidated: Environmental awareness,  responsible consumption,  critical thinking, cultural heritage awareness
