– Connections between organized crime and sports fandom in stadiums

Speakers and Experts:

– Federico Ruffo – Investigative journalist, President of the Observatory for Legality and Social Anti-Mafia in Rome’s X Municipality, and host of various television programs such as “Presa Diretta” and “Mi manda RAI TRE”

– Dr. Chiara Di Paola – Journalist at the “Fondazione Media Literacy E.T.S.”

Objectives:

– Educate students in critical thinking towards the media, fostering conscious citizenship and encouraging a rethinking of society and human relationships.

– Comprehend the value of free information as both a right and a duty—to provide news, express opinions, and ensure access to impartial, pluralistic journalism as a pillar of democracy.

– Provide effective tools and knowledge to observe and analyze reality in an increasingly connected and fluid world, counteracting indifference, resignation, fake news, and the spread of online hate.
