words they associate with Quality Education.
The Global Challenge (1:10 – 1:15 PM ET)
â—Ź Yasmine Sherif, Executive Director of Education Cannot Wait (ECW), and Aya Mouallem,
Co-Founder of All Girls Code, introduce the global goal of ensuring quality education
for all (SDG 4) and explain their personal and professional efforts towards achieving this
goal.
Discussion Round 1 (1:15 – 1:30 PM ET)
● Ellen Dixon, Youth Representative from UNESCO’s SDG 4 Youth & Student Network,
leads the first discussion round with Yasmine Sherif and Aya Mouallem focusing
on:“How can education help (or hinder) humanity achieve social inclusion, peace, and
environmental sustainability?”, including questions submitted and upvoted by young
people.

â—Ź Participants engage in a poll related to Access to Quality Education, the SDGs, and
youth empowerment, sharing perspectives and insights.
Discussion Round 2 (1:35 – 1:50 PM ET)
â—Ź Clara Vieira, 14-year old Student and Young Reporter for the Environment from
Uberlândia / Minas Gerais – Eco-School Escola da Criança, Brazil, leads the second
discussion round with Yasmine Sherif and Aya Mouallem focusing on:“What lessons
from history can guide us in achieving quality education for all learners today, and what
are the most critical actions we must take to make this a reality?”, including questions
submitted and upvoted by young people.
Interactive Action Brainstorm (1:50 – 1:55 PM ET)
â—Ź Participants share actionable ideas on how young people can address educational
challenges in their schools, homes, and communities.
Closing & Call to Action (1:55 – 2:00 PM ET)
â—Ź Hannah Ruhland, UNESCO Coordinator of the SDG 4 Youth & Student Network,
summarizes key insights from the dialogue and shares 1-2 concrete opportunities for
young people to get active at the global level.
