14 Meeting with the certified guide in front of the entrance at Via dei Sabelli
14-17: Cultural visit in the city: “Sustainability of water management as a resource” Depending on the available time, the visit will follow the city route of some ancient Roman aqueducts: • Porta Tiburtina: The passage of the aqueduct within the Aurelian Walls. • Piazza Esedra: Featuring the display of the renewed Aqua Marcia aqueduct. • Piazza Barberini: Showcasing Bernini’s Fountain as an example of the importance of restoration for the public good. • Spanish Steps • The Barcaccia Fountain • The arches on Via del Nazareno • The Trevi Fountain and The Baths of Agrippa • From the former Jewish Ghetto to Tiber Island.
