Visits and excursions to know the history, customs and daily life of the towns and cities around Seville.
Participation in cultural and social program of the school, sharing experiences with native and foreign Spanish teachers.
Course Content and Strategies
The communicative overall approach of the language and culture development classes uses task-based learning and reflection for the creation of the participants own portfolios. Throughout the course, participants are encouraged to reflect on their own practice and beliefs and to consider alternative practices and processes.
Class dynamics include individual, pair and group work, discussions, debates, roleplays, microteaching, presentations, written tasks and listening exercises and Artificial Intelligence. A friendly, supportive atmosphere encourages participants to share their own ideas and experience with other international participants.
Participants receive weekly focused feedback thanks to both self-evaluation and a personal pedagogic session with the teachers, reviewing objectives and setting homework if necessary. The themed sessions are made up of theoretical components, Spanish language teaching techniques in practice and the elaboration of intercultural activities that attendees will be able to put into practice on their return to work.
